Keep an eye out: Britney Spears

Written By: Sean
Much to my surprise I found my interest perked by news from none other than pop legend Britney Spears as word from the starlets camp have announced plans for some pretty legit producers too appear in collaboration for Britney’s yet to be recorded 7th album. Rumors had been circulating the net for awhile about possible musicians that would be appearing on Britney’s next cd but the record labels of all respective artists have confirmed that producers to appear on the album will include trance/house icons Tiësto and David Guetta, as well as dubstep king Rusko.

News of collaborations with Tiësto and Guetta don’t really come as a shock as both DJS have reached recent mainstream success due to collaborations with guest vocalists. Rusko however has been generally dominating the UK dubstep scene single handedly. Though he has voiced his wishes to bring his bass assault across the pond to North America, stating to L.A. Weekly

“Lots of people say they’ve heard dubstep, but they haven’t heard dubstep. In the U.K., you can hear it in the afternoon, but here you can’t just turn on the radio and hear dubstep. They [Jive/Zomba] approach me because they want me to do what I do. They don’t want me to make a cheesy pop record,” he said, “It’s simple. What you see is what you get. The music.”

With such the most buzzworthy producers in the mainstream dance scene behind her Britney’s next album has definitely earned itself the title of album to look out for in the future.
