V magazine celebrates women of all shapes and all sizes. The New V Magazine issue hits the newsstands January 14th. The publication only uses plus-size models. My initial thought when I saw this editorial was that using different sizes is a step forward. The use of plus size models in a editorial like this is destined to challenge our definitions of what is beautiful. Fashion can be very negative when it comes to weight, but showing these women as sexy and confident is definitely a positive step forward.
